Hey SPEAKERS!
I just wanted to take a moment to share with you that my friend and previous guest on When We Speak, is releasing a new song....IT'S RAHBI!!!!
One day I was in Target and I ran into a friend that I haven't seen in about 4 years.
When I ran into him I remember thinking to myself, he really looks good....Not saying that he didn't before but that he looks really in shape and stuff. Strangely I started to feel insecure because the last time I saw him, I was about 30lbs lighter and much more in shape. Ya'll I couldn't believe that running into a friend would make me feel inadequate...so I had to talk to some of my friends to bring me back around. In the process of talking to one of them on the phone, I looked down at my Electric Lady cd byJanelle Monae and thought.... "Janelle is so freaking pretty"!
What can I say about Russell Gunn?Hmm.. I
was pleased to have the opportunity to speak with him on When We Speak. I was slightly familiar with his artistry because
I’ve seen him perform with Julie Dexter a few times and I was aware that he
also did an album with Dionne Farris. However, I never knew that I would grow to admire him so much….to me he’s
a legend in his own right!
And of course, when speaking to a legend, everything that
comes out of their month is full of wisdom. That’s why it took me over two months to edit his interview.Mainly because I was trying to debate what …good
stuff was I going to remove! So what I
decided was to break the interview up into sections….so stay tuned for more video snippet
from my interview with Russell Gunn.
So please check out our interview with Russell Gunn! And purchase his music!
I say this all the time but I'm gonna say it again! The Anointed Pace Sisters are my favorite gospel group of all times and Lashun Pace is my favorite gospel singer of all times!
When We Speak is moving to Los Angeles! Yay! Well, not really, I love the ATL....but I did get a chance to speak with a Los Angeles based band while they were in Atlanta.
