On January 17, she was honored by BMI at the 2015 Trailblazers of Gospel Music Awards. We are overly ecstatic, to know such a wonderful and deserving lady. We love you LaShun Pace and can't wait to speak with you again soon!!!
Attended by gospel music’s premier songwriters, brightest stars and
leading industry executives, the invitation-only event, part industry
celebration and part awe-inspiring worship service, will also announce
the Most Performed Gospel Song of the Year at the ceremony.
This year’s honorees are comprised of talents who are deeply rooted
in the gospel genre. Israel Houghton, a prolific worship leader and
singer-songwriter-producer, has been at the helm of his own music
ministry for 22 years and has worked on more than 50 albums as an artist
or producer. In 1995, he formed New Breed Ministries, giving way to Whisper it Loudand Way of the World,
debut releases from 1997. Since then, Houghton has released 11 solo and
group CDs and has reached consistent commercial success with Billboard
chart toppers like New Season, Power of One and his most recent
release, Jesus at the Center. Houghton has garnered countless accolades
throughout his career, including five GRAMMY awards, 13 Dove awards,
two Stellar awards and a Soul Train award.
Their success laid the groundwork for group member and sister LaShun Pace to launch a successful solo career. Pace’s first album, He Lives,
featured her opus “I Know I’ve Been Changed.” Several memorable albums
followed.
BMI is proud to honor these towering talents and celebrate their legendary contributions.
They were a signed group with Blackberry Records.
In 2014, under the direction of Melonda Pace, they got together for a night of fellowship, reunion, and family after several years. Many past members of The Voices of Power came from all across the country to be a part of this great night in Atlanta, GA.
A few days ago, I was on my way to work, listening to a gospel radio show. I don't think it was Yolanda Adamsor Donnie McClurkin (but it could have been).... I'm not really sure.
Anyway...they were stating that people are no longer buying gospel music. When I initially heard that, I said, "that's not true". Then I asked myself, "what is the last gospel album that you've bought?" Of course, I had to think.....REALLY LONG!!! Then, I remembered that the last gospel album I purchased was Reborn byLashun Pace.....and that's not a new release!!!
After I finally realized that I hadn't purchased a gospel album in a long time, I started questioning why I wasn't buying.... So, rather than say why I haven't bought a gospel album lately, I thought I'd do my share by sharing a few gospel songs with you that are available for purchase such as this new music by Karew Records...... (ENJOY!!)
I'm not complaining, I'm just joking...I'm very grateful that God has given me the ability to manage and run my vision independently. Actually I wrote this blog to update you on FIVE THINGS that have occurred with SAINJ PRODUCTIONS/ WHEN WE SPEAK TV.

Number #4: By now you should know that I made my first music video appearance in Kem's music video for "Glorify The King". If you don't know that by now, SHAME ON YOU!!! I also had the opportunity to sing with him once which ultimately lead to me meeting and having Kem's background singerL'Renee on the show! There is so much that I can say about L'Renee! Besides the obvious beauty, she is also a very gifted singer and songwriter. Check out L'Renee on When We Speak.
Number #5: What can I say? My dream has finally come true! Since I was a child I have admired LaShun Pace! This Stellar Award winning artist is my favorite singer of all times....and I finally got a chance to sit down and speak with my Auntie LaShun!!!! It was so difficult to edit this interview because we talked about so much... And I wanted to soak up every moment!!!! I am so honored and pleased to share with you my interview with The Iconic- The Talented- The Beautiful- The Anointed LASHUN PACE!!!!

Growing up, who was someone that you really wanted to met? For the majority of us, we won't actually get a chance to meet that person. And for those that do, be sure to enjoy every moment of it! AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I DID!!!

The Voices of Power is a Stellar nominated, gospel recording choir founded by the late, Bishop Murphy J Pace III (brother of The Anointed Pace Sisters). Over the years they've performed with many great artists/ stages.
