The Local Peach, located in Norcross, Georgia, is not only a great place to get meals and delicious treats, they also provide a locally sourced market.  The market is over 90% women owned and over 50% minority owned. 

The Local Peach is committed to helping preserve the environment by reducing waste and developing lasting relationships by supporting live music events in Norcross, such as Jazz In The Alley, a free live jazz concert series.

Missy Elliott, SWV, and More To Be Honored At 2023 Black Music Honors

Black Music Honors shines a spotlight on revolutionary artists and musicians who have made significant impact on African-American music. Produced by Central City Productions, the highly anticipated live taping will take place at the renowned Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Ga. on Friday, May 19.

This year's lineup of honorees include some of the most influential names in Black music history, such as hip-hop superstar, songwriter-producer, and cultural icon Missy Elliott; award-winning R&B vocal trio and one of the best-selling female groups of all time SWV; disco superstar vocalist, songwriter, record producer and all-around performer Evelyn "Champagne" King; widely-respected R&B/Soul crooner Jeffrey Osborne; and legendary gospel trailblazers The Hawkins Family.

Actor Brian Jordan Jr (Tyler Perry's Sistas) shares with Jermaine Sain (When We Speak TV) about the first time he saw himself represented on television.


Many of you recognize Brian Jordan Jr from his role as Maurice on Tyler Perry's Sistas but did you also know that Brian is a director and choreographer?
Brian Jordan, Jr. will direct and choreograph a new production of The Wiz for Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre Company, scheduled to open in June.

Jermaine Sain is the host/ creator of a talk show called When We Speak. After exiting the U.S. Army in 2003, as a Medical Sergeant, Jermaine began pursuing a career in music after he auditioned for American Idol in 2005, in Austin, Texas.


In 2008, Jermaine moved to Atlanta where he has had the opportunity to provide backing vocals for Kem (Grammy nominated R&B Singer) Heart (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame), and Barry Manilow, as well as for companies such as Pink Ribbon Story Foundation and Verizon Wireless. He made his first music video appearance in Kem's Glorify The King.


Jermaine's talk show, When We Speak, caters to entertainment with a close focus on indie music professionals.
