Interview With Gospel Singer Sonya McGuire
One day I was singing at a church with the group that I sing with and a singer by the name of Sonya McGuire was there. I didn't know alot about her but I remembered we sang at her birthday celebration about a year prior. I thought that she was very skilled at her gift and I really enjoyed her music. Well, the night that I saw her again, I decided to record her performance of a song of her's that I really enjoy called Should've Thought About It. When I went home that night, I watched the video and began to be inspired to write a song..... Therefore, I say that my song Walking In Victory was inspired by Gospel Singer Sonya McGuire.
When We Speak TV was blessed to have an opportunity to sit down with Sonya and share this very testimony of how her music has encouraged me to continue writing...... Hopefully one day, I'll get an opportunity to record it and maybe have her lead the song or duet with me! (I'll have to put that on the prayer list!)
