On The Road with Sarah Peacock
Do you remember my interview with Kurt Scobie? Well, I interviewed Kurt before his show in Duluth, GA, at The Red Clay Theatre …little did I know that I would also run into another voice that I would be mesmerized over. After our interview, as I walked up the stairs I could hear a female voice coming from the theatre, It was Sarah Peacock.
Sarah has a work ethic that I definitely admire, and her new album Albuquerque Sky is evidence of her determination and hard work.

Her sound check was so good that I immediately walked up to her to introduce myself. Luckily for me, I also got a chance to watch her performance that night. Then a month or two passed and I got a message from Sarah Peacock accepting to join me on When We Speak!

When Winston Warrior Speaks....
I want to encourage each of you to support indie artists because they work very hard to provide you with great music…usually from their own bank accounts. There are numerous ways to support these artists. One way would be just to share their music when you see it on social media sites. If you have a blog, you could voluntarily write a review about their music. Lastly, if they are a guest on When We Speak, you should share their interview with us, rate it, and comment.
One thing I’ve learned through my research of blogging and social media is that a lot is based off comments, views, likes, etc. Did you know that even if you hit the “thumbs down” on a video, it’s better than not clicking anything at all? Sounds crazy right? Well, this is how the internet looks at it; if you clicked dislike, the video impacted you enough to leave your opinion about it.

Jermaine Sain is the host/ creator of a talk show called When We Speak. After exiting the U.S. Army in 2003, as a Medical Sergeant, Jermaine began pursuing a career in music after he auditioned for American Idol in 2005, in Austin, Texas.
In 2008, Jermaine moved to Atlanta where he has had the opportunity to provide backing vocals for Kem (Grammy nominated R&B Singer) Heart (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame), and Barry Manilow, as well as for companies such as Pink Ribbon Story Foundation and Verizon Wireless. He made his first music video appearance in Kem's Glorify The King.
